One of the major achievements targeted for phase 3 of CANTAM is the accreditation of at least two laboratories within the institutions of the network. To achieve this objective, the network is mobilizing useful ways and means.

It is in this context that CANTAM organized from 25 to 29 October 2021 a sub-regional training workshop on laboratory accreditation. This five-day workshop led by Prof. François TRAPADOUX, International Technical and Quality Evaluator, aimed to arm those responsible for accreditation projects for the institutions labs in the countries of the sub-region (Cameroon, Congo, Gabon and DRC ), link them and provide them with support in the conduct of this important project of this phase of the program.

The participants worked diligently during these five days and all committed themselves, with the new capacities acquired, to effectively lead the establishment of lab accreditation in their respective institutions and countries.
